Redmine Sleepmeter - Feature #257 (New): sort out external storage messhttps://css.squallline.com/issues/2572014-11-01T16:58:42ZTony Ciavarella

Google has made a giant mess of the external storage situation in android. External storage refers to internal storage these days and now there's a getExternalFilesDirs() thing that returns a private thing that the media scanner can't look in and gets deleted when the application is uninstalled. There's yet another thing called getExternalStoragePublicDirectory() that might behave similarly to the old thing, except that it too is probably on internal storage and not actually on the damn SD card.

Somehow this giant mess needs to be sorted because the current "Save to SD" things in sleepmeter are almost certainly never actually saving anything on the damn SD card any longer.
Widgets - Bug #254 (Closed): stopping while in a hole should make end of sleep period start of holehttps://css.squallline.com/issues/2542013-02-25T16:17:57ZTony Ciavarella

Jani J. reported this via Google Play comments on Feb 23, 2013 at 6:27 AM:
Not Working.. if i push hole while sleeping, but decided not to continue sleep, so i push stop. It doesn't make hole or fix the time. I have to manually fix the sleep end time :(
Sleepmeter - Bug #213 (Closed): ...'s Failed to Fall Asleep doesn't work when period type is set ...https://css.squallline.com/issues/2132012-04-20T06:23:48ZTony Ciavarella

With period type set to nap, choosing "Failed to Fall Asleep" from the ... menu results in the default night sleep period times being displayed. It should show the no sleep period times instead.
Widgets - Bug #212 (New): 2x1 landscape can get buttons all jumbled uphttps://css.squallline.com/issues/2122012-04-20T01:53:22ZTony Ciavarella

See attached photo. Probably should fix that.
Sleepmeter - Bug #207 (Closed): ad thing crashes freehttps://css.squallline.com/issues/2072012-04-15T22:05:37ZTony Ciavarella

The fancy new UI business crashes the free version due to the way the ad thing was trying to work.
Widgets - Feature #197 (Closed): add a 1x1 minimalistic widgethttps://css.squallline.com/issues/1972012-04-06T17:47:11ZTony Ciavarella

There seems to be a need for a minimalistic 1x1 widget. Justifiably, some people find the eyes too damn ugly.

A minimalistic 1x1 widget might simply have the app name title and a record button which switches to pause and stop buttons when pressed. No outline, no background, nothing else.

It's possible that this could be achieved by making the existing widgets more customizable by allowing parts of them to be disabled.
Sleepmeter - Feature #182 (New): add amount of time snoozed to recorded datahttps://css.squallline.com/issues/1822012-01-15T07:55:48ZTony Ciavarella

It might be amusing to record the amount of time a person snoozes after their alarm goes off.

Your app finally killed this behavior.
Now I would like to kill the process that makes me lose 2 hours in the morning before I start my projects.
I don't know if I was able to convince you. I just thought it was in line with your purpose.
Let's put it this way: if you implement it, I'll design a new logo for your app (can't do worse than a "retarded orangutan" lol)
(Don't be afraid for the depression that this feature can push on people. Your app already can do it, if people can't sleep for days and see the dramatic result on the graph)

Hi,

Thx for creating this app. I just started to use it.

I would like to see a "got up" time. I often wake up at a particular time, but don't get up for another hour or so in the hope of sleeping more. In terms of tracking my sleep habits, this would be helpful.

Thx again!

Another thing, is it possible to define the sleep target for more then 12 hours? Again, I'd like to get statistics on my baby's sleep and he needs to sleep around 15 hours a day...

Thanx!!
Sleepmeter - Feature #171 (New): stick sleep periods into google calendarhttps://css.squallline.com/issues/1712011-11-23T09:53:37ZTony Ciavarella

Hey,

Is it at all possible that you can integrate sleep meter with your google calendar? As in when you wake up after hitting the widget it logs it in sleepmeter so you can analyze it and also creates an appointment with Google calendar to a nominated personal calendar

Tony,

I'll show you a screenshot of my Google calendar. Makes is VERY easy to see when you do and don't get sleep visually. For a while I was keeping track of it manually but I found it painful to do so I just left it at 11.30-7.30 which was just too generic. Having the app would make it easy to see when and where I need to focus on getting to sleep earlier and how much sleep I am getting and what days I need to improve on and why by looking at my other tasks during the day.

As you can see here.. its pretty easy to see where your getting sleep and how you can make improvements.. ie for me.. I really need to go to be earlier. I found when I was working I was getting around 6-7 hours of sleep. Being able to see this in google calendar, for me atleast, will psycologicaly say to me ... "oh I realy need to be getting to bed around 10.30 to be waking up for work at 5.45 instead of what i'm doing going to bed at 12.00 midnight" ..

Just a thought.. What do you think?

Now that widgets can be reconfigured, it would be nice if the save button was always visible at the bottom like the record tab save buttons. It would also be nice if there was a cancel button down there too.
Sleepmeter - Feature #130 (Closed): add a 3x1 widget which is a bigger version of the 2x1 widgethttps://css.squallline.com/issues/1302011-07-21T00:50:52ZTony Ciavarella

With tablets and bigger shit, a bigger widget is justified.

It might be fun to see % of life spent sleeping in a pie chart with wedges for awake, night sleep, nap, time in holes.

I would like to be able to see some of the statistics as pie charts (e.g. the % of life spent sleeping, % of sleep spent napping, frequency of sleep aid use, frequency of dreams, % of the nights in which sleep quality is greater than or equal to 7, etc.)
Sleepmeter - Feature #63 (Closed): add a "Where's the damn widget?" button to helphttps://css.squallline.com/issues/632011-01-03T03:40:58ZTony Ciavarella

Add a button to the top of the help menu that only shows up when the widget is not installed. When pressed it takes the user to the market to download the widget.
Sleepmeter - Feature #48 (Closed): add a balance graphhttps://css.squallline.com/issues/482010-12-13T23:53:57ZTony Ciavarella

It would be cool to see a graph of your sleep balance over time. Perhaps it would have a preference to determine which period it would follow. It graph a daily snapshot of the balance number for the selected period over the history of the data in the database.
Sleepmeter - Feature #16 (Closed): add a chart that displays all sleep eventshttps://css.squallline.com/issues/162010-10-29T04:34:04ZTony Ciavarella

The idea is to display all sleep events in a single graph. It would be a 24 hour Y axis vs a date X axis. A vertical line would be drawn for each sleep event. These lines may be colored to indicate event type, sleep aid, dream, or other thing. It might be cool.
