I downloaded this app to see how much sleep Im losing and gaining. It has been very helpful in determining the next days' events and plan a better sleep cycle.

What would be helpful to me, is to have an option of 'no sleep for the night' as well as an 'obstructions' option under 'aids'. Possible options (that I would use) would be cold, noise, heat, movement, awkward sleep position (discomfort), pain, or other. This would also be a good option under 'how you woke up'. I would use this to determine how I wake up, what the quality of sleep was after a long night in the field (I'm military), and what I can do to sleep better and have az produceful day.

Thanks for the great app. Keep up the good work.

Tony,

I messed with the app and realized it does graph the days as not getting any sleep so disregard that.

I brought up the 'obstructions' option as a result of my various sleep patterns. Sometimes I will be able to sleep while we are at a shooting range and sometimes I will be kept awake at night from the sound of my girlfriend breathing lol. I'm not a 'light' or 'heavy' sleeper- it varies.

The idea of having this option would be to examine what woke me up that night just as 'aids' does in determining what helped me sleep as good as I did.

If I were to add 'fire ants' for one night and 'cold' for the next night under aids, it would still register my data as an aid. I would like to see the option listed below the 'sleep aids (excluding naps)' category on the 'statistics' tab just to see how many nights during the month (year) I had been forcefully awaken. Although it wouldn't be helpful to myself or anybody else in planning bedtimes, it would be interesting to see how my sleep cycle has varied. I could look back through my training cycle, or for other Sleepmeter users, their work days, and perhaps see what the result of a specific job or task has done to our sleep.

Thanks for the quick response!

on second thought, this is more like a hindrance than a tag...
