Need to do something to restore the old dialog listview hacks on 1.5 and 1.6 only. It works as is on 2.0+, but it seems that android didn't start using dark background theme by default until 3.0 (11). So, it might be wise to keep the white background until API level 11. 2.0+ and those hacks break things on those versions.
